Majors Division

Age: 10, 11 & 12 year olds

Division Coordinator: Chris Rocco

Division Assistant Coordinator: Paul Kane

Number of Games: Varies based on the number of teams in the league.

Duration of Season: April through June including holiday weekends; generally weeknights and weekends.

How Teams are selected: Teams are drafted by the coaches. Players participate in a skills session before the season and the coaches meet with the coordinators to draft the teams. Players that are not selected to play Majors will play in Triple A. The Draft Committee determines the age breakdown of each team. Players returning to Majors from the year before do not need to tryout again -- generally they go back to the team they played for the year before.

Basic Skill Focus / Expectations: Majors is a highly competitive division. Players are selected to play in this division.

Hitting: A full batting roster is used in every game. Bats must be “Little League” approved. Bunting is not allowed 

Playing Time / Positions Played: This is a highly competitive division. All teams make the playoffs and seeding is based on record. Every player must play at least 4 innings in the field.
